The Blue Thong Society was 'snapped' in San Diego by 4 Girlfriends, all around 50, who still went to concerts, wore bell bottoms, cut and colored their hair like rock stars and, most importantly, have always fought for causes that they believed in. We picked the color blue because in color lore, blue signifies sympathy, understanding and compassion between women. BTS is a national women's social organization of all ages that supports neighborhood charities with a 'thongs on' approach in creative and fun ways as we scream our Battle Cry - "Fight Frump!" The Blue Woman Project is our latest endeavor where BTS will be raising money to donate to women who have the 'Blues'. We are honored to have been asked to be a 'Friend of Frosted Pink' in 2008.
